Less than a year after the best golfers in the world converged on the city of Louisville for the 2008 Ryder Cup, the PGA has announced they will be heading back to town. Not just once but twice in the next 5 years, Valhalla Golf Club will play host to 2 major championships.

The race will start on the riverfront at the Tumbleweed restaurant with a 2.4 mile swim in the Ohio River. After exiting at Waterfront Parks Great Lawn, the triathletes will continue with a 112 mile bike race through Oldham County before returning to Downtown Louisville. The third and final leg will take the competitors on a 26.2 mile run around the city that finishs at 4th Street Live.
